Elevate your burger game with these juicy and protein-packed Turkey Burgers with Cucumber Relish. Made with ground turkey, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and aromatic dill, these burgers are full of flavor while staying lighter than traditional options. A touch of balsamic vinegar adds a subtle tang, perfectly complementing the savory ingredients.

The quick-pickled cucumber slices, infused with red wine vinegar and a hint of sweetness, provide a refreshing crunch, while the creamy Greek yogurt-dill sauce adds a rich, tangy finish. Assemble with fresh spinach or lettuce on whole wheat or brioche buns for a wholesome, satisfying meal. Perfect for weeknight dinners or weekend barbecues!

Ingredients

  • 450 gr ground turkey
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Pickled cucumbers:

  • 1 cucumber, sliced with a mandolin
  • 1 tbs. Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. sweetener
  • Salt and pepper

Yogurt sauce:

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp. Dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

To assemble:

  • Whole Wheat or Brioche Buns
  • Fresh Spinach
  • Fresh Lettuce

Preparation

  1. Slice the cucumber. Then add it to a bowl with white wine vinegar, sweetener, salt and pepper. Mix and let sit for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, Parmesan cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, balsamic vinegar, dill, salt and pepper.
  3. Shape into 4 equal size patties to fit the size of your buns.
  4. Heat a grill to medium-high and brush with a little olive oil. Cook the burgers, 3-4 minutes per side, or until fully done.
  5. Mix Greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, pepper, dill and salt.
  6. Serve the burgers with wheat buns, pickled cucumbers and yogurt sauce.
